Welcome to Crescent Lotus Dance Studio!

Dance: an artistic form of nonverbal communication;  skip, leap, or move up and down or sideways; (from Old French) generally refers to human movement either used as a form of expression or presented in a social, spiritual or performance setting.

Crescent Lotus Dance Studio exists as a center for multi-cultural artistic exchanges through the dance and music of many origins. Co-owners Kryss & Amae and other teachers at Crescent Lotus provide a safe and positive environment for personal exploration and the building of community through the timeless, borderless art of dance.

Crescent Lotus Dance Studio offers classes in Belly Dance (Cabaret, Fusion, & American Tribal Style), Dance Meditation, Exotic Dance & Pole Fitness, Dervish Whirling, West African Drum & Dance, Yoga , and more! See our schedule.

"While the poet wrestles with the horses in his brain and the sculptor wounds his eyes on the hard spark of the alabaster, the dancer battles the air around her, air that threatens at any moment to destroy her harmony or to open huge empty spaces where her rhythm will be annihilated."--Federico Garcia Lorca (cited in The Demon and the Angel by Edward Hirsch)
