Proper Class Attire: Yoga pants or similar type pants, a workout or tank top, a hip belt (preferably not coined) or fringed scarf. Dance shoes are optional.

  Beginner Belly Dance I - Counteract your holiday feasting with a fun new fitness routine! It’s great fun and good for you. This class introduces you to the basics of belly dance. Posture, arm positions, and basic moves are introduced and drilled. No previous dance experience is required. Cost $15 per class or get a card.

  Beginner Belly Dance II - this class is a great cardio workout! In this class, very little instruction is given. Instead, the teacher turns on some great music and dances. Students repeat the moves as best they can and learn to "feel" the different beats in the songs. Additionally, students see how to perform graceful transitions and rhythm changes. A perfect class for those who just need to dance!! Some previous belly dance experience is helpful. Cost $15 per class or get a card.

  Mixed Level Belly Dance - This class is great workout designed for all dancers from beginner to advanced! It is taught in the Flow style, meaning we dance the entire time, focusing on creating a strong foundation in Modern Egyptian Cabaret Style while learning professional level moves, combinations, and performing styles. Even if you're not planning to perform professionally, you will love this fun, fast-paced class and the toning effect on your body.

  Intermediate Belly Dance - the class works on taking basic belly dance moves and refining them. Then, these moves are layered atop each other to produce the mezmerizing combos that make belly dance such a sensual art form. Previous belly dance experience required. Cost $15 per class or get a card.

  Advanced American Tribal Style Belly Dance- this class builds on what you learned in the beginning class. Dancers will learn to perform combination moves, graceful transitions, dance as a member of a group, lead, and change positions. In this class we also discuss various types of rhythms as we learn them. Occasionally we have live drummers to play for us. Contact Amy HJ for more info.

  Open Dance - These classes are open to all levels of dancers. The open format encourages everyone to put their skills to use while perfecting their technique. Cost $15 per class or get a card.

Dance Meditation - Dancemeditation is an alternative to happy hour and a great way to transition between work week and weekend.  No dance experience or skill is needed. This is an opportunity to move without the pressure of a dance club and an audience.  Through gently guided movements and suggestions for focused movement participants are encouraged to find and explore their own personal dance. The practice of Dancemediation gives the participant the tools to reduce stress, relax more completely, find a calm center and let it all hang out. Read more. Pole Goddess - Develop everything from your sexy walk down to your exotic crawl...not to mention the fun and excitement that comes with learning graceful pole tricks. Feel good about feeling sexy and enjoy the yumminess of being woman. This isn't your average fitness class, but you will go home feeling this workout from head to toe!

Pole'rotica with Lady M - Open to all levels of Pole Kittens, this class covers the basics of grips, spins, and sexy walks as well as some more gravity defying moves and variations as the student progresses. Warm up and cool down include techniques for a sultry descent to the floor and sexy moves once you're there. Classes conclude with a short choreography linking the moves focused on in class.

Lady M's Single Saturday classes - $45 pre-reg/$50 at the door if there is space available. Sign up for 2 classes in a month for $80.

Hip Hop - The Basics

This is a beginners class. This class is an opportunity for students to open their minds to the culture of hip hop. Hip Hop is not just words (rap) put to beats... It is the beat! It is the dance, the clothes, even the graffiti art. This culture is universal and this class will allow you to experience it first hand and to express yourself through the styles of hip hop dancing.

Clothing: Loose fitting clothes. Loose pants and a t-shirt. NO JEANS!!! I prefer barefoot.
